METRO 70 is an advanced herbicide formulated as a Wettable Powder (WP). It contains metribuzin, a selective triazinone herbicide that provides effective control of a wide range of annual broadleaf and grassy weeds. Unlike non-selective herbicides, this product targets weeds while maintaining good crop selectivity when used as recommended.

METRO 70 works by inhibiting weed growth processes at multiple levels.

  • Pre and post-emergence activity: Controls weeds before and shortly after emergence.

  • Photosynthesis inhibition: Blocks electron transport in photosystem II, stopping weed growth and development.

  • Systemic movement: Absorbed by roots and leaves and translocated within the plant.
